What you are signing up for

Diarized reads tasks from the services you connect and writes time blocks into the calendar you nominate. It does not replace your task app or your calendar, and it stops working on them the moment you disconnect or delete your account.

We only create, move and remove blocks that we created. Those blocks are identifiable by a marker in their description. We never edit or delete anything else on your calendar.

Plans and payment

There is one plan. It costs $9.99 per month or $89.99 per year, billed by Stripe, and it starts with a 30-day trial that requires a card but charges nothing. The first payment is taken when the trial ends, unless you have cancelled before then.

The plan connects as many task apps and calendars as you have and schedules eight weeks ahead. It can place work at weekends, and it lets you choose how work is ordered, what happens to a deadline you cannot make, how much room to leave between blocks, and whether the week is spread evenly or finished as early as possible. Where an app can notify us, which Todoist, Linear, Google Calendar and Outlook can and the others cannot, your changes reach your calendar in seconds. Where it cannot, we check every 15 minutes, including outside your working hours.

Cancel any time from the billing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. After that Diarized stops scheduling: your task sources are paused and the blocks it wrote are released from your calendar, so the calendar is yours again. We do not delete your data, and your settings apply again if you subscribe later.

What we ask of you

Use your own accounts, do not attempt to access anyone else's data, and do not try to overwhelm the service. Connecting accounts you are not entitled to connect is the one thing that will get an account closed without warning.

Interruptions and changes

Diarized depends on Google and Microsoft, and on whichever task apps you connect: Todoist, Notion, TickTick, Linear, Jira, ClickUp, Asana, monday.com and GitHub. When one of them is unavailable, changes rely on our slower polling instead, and when one of them changes an API we may need time to catch up. We will not silently degrade your plan — the dashboard shows whether syncing is live.

You can export everything we hold, or delete your account entirely, at any time from your account page.

What we do not promise

Diarized is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular schedule it produces will suit you. Automatic scheduling is a suggestion written into your calendar, not a commitment made on your behalf: you are responsible for what you actually do with your time, for meeting your own deadlines, and for checking anything that matters before you rely on it.

We depend on services we do not control. If Google or Microsoft is unavailable, changes an API, or revokes our access, parts of Diarized will stop working until we catch up. The same is true of every task app we read: Todoist, Notion, TickTick, Linear, Jira, ClickUp, Asana, monday.com and GitHub.

Limits on what we owe you

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including lost profit, lost business, lost opportunity, or a missed deadline — arising from your use of Diarized.

Where we are liable, our total liability to you for all claims in any twelve month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. During the trial that amount is nothing, which is the honest consequence of not having charged you yet.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

If something goes wrong between us

Email us first. Almost everything is a misunderstanding about what the scheduler did, and the run history on your dashboard usually settles it in a minute — every block records the reason it was placed where it was.

If you use Diarized on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are entitled to connect the accounts you connect, and you accept responsibility for claims that arise from connecting accounts you were not entitled to.

Refunds and cancelling

The 30-day trial is there so you can decide before paying anything, and you can cancel during it without being charged at all.

If you are charged and change your mind, email us within 14 days of that payment and we will refund it in full. This is deliberately simpler and more generous than the law requires, because arguing about a $9.99 refund is worth less to us than your goodwill. Outside those 14 days, cancelling stops the next payment rather than refunding the last one.

If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, you also have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of entering the contract. Nothing above reduces it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.

Changes to these terms

We will email you before any change that materially reduces what you get or increases what you pay, and the change takes effect at your next billing period so you can cancel first. Smaller corrections are published here with the date at the top of this page.
