Diarized: an Akiflow alternative

A command bar and unified inbox: it pulls tasks in from everywhere you get them so you can triage them onto a day.

What is different here

Akiflow reads a wider kind of source than we do. It takes Todoist, Notion, Asana, ClickUp, Jira, Linear and Trello, alongside Slack, Gmail and GitHub. Those last three are where work reaches you as a message, and we deliberately do not read them, because a message has nowhere to live once you call it a task. If your actual problem is that work reaches you in fifteen places, that is the problem Akiflow was built for and this page is not going to talk you out of it.

The difference is what happens next. Akiflow is somewhere you work: you open it, clear the inbox, and place things on the day, and it will auto-schedule if you ask it to. Diarized is not somewhere you go. It reads the list you already keep and writes to the calendar you already read, and on an ordinary day you open neither.

Moving over

  1. Move anything you created inside Akiflow, rather than in one of the apps it reads, into the task app you are keeping.
  2. Connect that app and your calendar to Diarized.
  3. If you keep Akiflow for the inbox, turn its scheduling off so only one tool is writing blocks.

Akiflow is $34 a month, or $25 a month billed yearly, after a 7-day trial, the shortest of any tool on this page (checked 19 August 2026). Their pricing page was also running a countdown showing $19 on the yearly plan when we looked, so that is the number you may see quoted; it is a promotion, not the standing rate. Diarized is $9.99 a month or $89.99 a year, free for the first 30 days.

What you keep

  • Your to-do list stays where it is. Diarized reads Asana, Google Tasks, Todoist, Microsoft To Do, Notion, TickTick, Linear, Jira, ClickUp, monday.com and GitHub, and writes nothing back except the blocks you asked for.
  • Your calendar stays yours. Blocks go into Google or Outlook, so you keep reading your day in whatever you already use.
  • Your history stays intact. Nothing is imported, so there is nothing to export if you leave again.
