Diarized: a SkedPal alternative

An auto-scheduler that places the tasks you give it, with time budgets for different kinds of work.

What is different here

SkedPal is a genuine auto-scheduler: one click places the week, and it replans when something slips. The difference is where the tasks come from. Asana is its one direct task integration; anything else arrives through Zapier or gets typed into SkedPal, so for most people it becomes another list to keep. Diarized adds no list of its own: we read eleven task apps directly and write only calendar events.

One thing SkedPal does better, and it belongs here rather than in a footnote: its Pro tier schedules 60 days ahead where we stop at 56. If you plan a quarter out, that is a real reason to prefer it.

Moving over

  1. Move anything that only exists in SkedPal into the task app you want to keep.
  2. Connect that app and your calendar to Diarized.
  3. Turn off SkedPal's scheduling before the first run so both are not placing the same work.

SkedPal Core is $9.95 a month billed annually or $14.95 monthly, and Pro is $14.95 annually or $21.95 monthly, after a 14-day trial with no card (checked 19 August 2026). Core schedules 21 days out and Pro 60. Diarized is $9.99 a month or $89.99 a year, schedules 56 days ahead on every plan, and is free for the first 30 days.

What you keep

  • Your to-do list stays where it is. Diarized reads Asana, Google Tasks, Todoist, Microsoft To Do, Notion, TickTick, Linear, Jira, ClickUp, monday.com and GitHub, and writes nothing back except the blocks you asked for.
  • Your calendar stays yours. Blocks go into Google or Outlook, so you keep reading your day in whatever you already use.
  • Your history stays intact. Nothing is imported, so there is nothing to export if you leave again.
