Switching / Morgen
Diarized: a Morgen alternative
A Swiss calendar app that pulls tasks in from the apps you already use and proposes a plan for placing them.
What is different here
Morgen reads your existing task apps, so like Reclaim it does not ask you to move in, and it reads roughly as many as we do. Pretending otherwise would be the same mistake this page already made once about FlowSavvy. Three things separate them.
The first is who decides. Morgen's AI Planner proposes and waits: their own page says the plan is yours to tune and approve, which is a decision you make again every morning. Diarized places the work and writes it, and you look at the result only if you want to.
The second is the calendar. Morgen is a calendar app you adopt and read your day inside. Diarized has none of its own, so blocks land in Google or Outlook and you keep reading your day in Fantastical, Apple Calendar or whatever you already open.
The third is how far ahead either will look. Morgen's AI Planner plans one to seven days at a time, so it answers what this week holds. Diarized schedules 56 days out, which is the range at which a deadline five weeks away starts showing up as a problem.
Moving over
- Keep the task apps Morgen was reading and connect the same ones here.
- Decide where you want to read your day, because leaving Morgen means going back to Google Calendar, Outlook or a calendar client.
- If Morgen was writing time blocks into your calendar, turn that off before the first run so two tools are not placing the same task.
Morgen is $30 a month, or $15 a month billed yearly, after a 14-day trial that does not ask for a card (checked 19 August 2026). Diarized is $9.99 a month or $89.99 a year, free for the first 30 days. Morgen hosts in Switzerland and says so prominently; we are in the UK, which is the same GDPR answer under a different flag.
What you keep
- Your to-do list stays where it is. Diarized reads Asana, Google Tasks, Todoist, Microsoft To Do, Notion, TickTick, Linear, Jira, ClickUp, monday.com and GitHub, and writes nothing back except the blocks you asked for.
- Your calendar stays yours. Blocks go into Google or Outlook, so you keep reading your day in whatever you already use.
- Your history stays intact. Nothing is imported, so there is nothing to export if you leave again.
Start your 30-day trial One task app and one calendar, at no cost, with no card.
